I originally purchased this snuff because of the generally positive reviews and my love for citrus. However, with the first several tries it was almost impossible to enjoy. The grind is fine and the moisture level was dry dry dry! It was so dry that is was nearly impossible to keep it out of my throat. Otherwise the aroma is wonderful full of citrus with an evenly medicated undertow. Over the next several weeks I tried to use the snuff and enjoy with no success. I decided To try and rehydrate this snuff because I wanted to like it. After a week in a sealed bag with a moist sponge I tried it again. I am so glad I didn't give up on this snuff as it is now completely enjoyable. The nicotine is mild with only slight nasal burn. So my advice is to never let this snuff dry out and enjoy the sweet aroma of citrus!

When you first pop open a tin of WoS Lemon Grove you get a slight ammonia smell indicating freshness, then followed by a Lemony Bergamot scent. With repeated opening and closing the slight ammonia scent dissipates and all you smell is the wonderfully Lemony Bergamot scent. You have to be carefull when you open the WOS tins as they are packed up with snuff good, and you can easily make a mess. As you take a pinch, the lemon scent is right there the it starts to fade out as the bergamot scent comes into power which lingers for a while then fades out to a nice tobacco aroma. This snuff is best used when outside or by a breeze as the wind intensives the aroma with every gust. I had heard may good reviews of WoS Lemon Grove which drove me to try it. I am very pleased with it and the lemony-bergamot goes together finely. A very good all day snuff, slight burn and fair nicotine kick. I will definitely buy again!

This snuff reminds me of an SP. A lemon SP. Some claim that LG doesn't have enough lemon for them, but I disagree. The nice thing about LG is that you can still sense the tobacco base in it- and its very pleasant. LG has a good nicotine hit and a good nose burn. This snuff has the grind and characteristics of WoS S.S. but with Lemon instead of Bergamot and what not. Care must be taken when taking this snuff because no matter how careful I am, LG almost always gets in my throat. A great snuff that I enjoy from time to time. Don't let LG dry out!

Medium-fine, medium moisture, medium nic hit. Upon snuffing for the first time, I noticed exactly why this one's "lemon GROVE" and not just "lemon." It has a subtle, yet powerful, lemon scent with a background that I can only describe as plants/trees/vegetation. That is NOT to say this stuff smells like dirt... more like a leaf or something. Hard to describe. Very lovely snuff here that is perfect for mornings and afternoons.
