The holiday rush is behind us, and we're pleased to report that shipping times are returning to normal. Global carrier networks have cleared their backlogs, and parcels are now moving through the system at regular speeds.
What this means for you
- All services operational: DHL eCommerce and other carrier services are back to full capacity.
- Standard delivery times: Expect your orders to arrive within the usual timeframes for your region.
- Tracking updates: While tracking has improved, please note that courier updates can still lag behind the true position of your order. This remains an ongoing industry challenge, so while tracking is more consistent now, it is not always perfectly real-time.
- US Duties & Tariffs: We continue to pay all US duties and tariffs upfront. This ensures your parcels transit customs smoothly without any surprise fees or delays upon delivery.
- Increased Weight Limits: We are working with DHL to increase the maximum parcel weight to 4kg. This will reduce the need to split larger orders into multiple parcels, rewarding customers who make larger purchases with lower effective shipping rates.
Thank you for your patience during the busy season — we appreciate your continued support and look forward to serving you in 2026!
It is currently peak shipping season, driven by Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and preparations for Christmas. Global carrier networks are experiencing exceptionally high volumes, which may result in longer delivery times than usual.
What to expect
- Extended delivery times: Please allow extra time for your parcels to arrive. Carriers are working at full capacity but delays are inevitable during this period.
- DHL eCommerce services: Due to the sheer volume in their network, timed services are not currently guaranteed, although they are being prioritised where possible.
- Tracking updates: Tracking information may update more slowly than usual as parcels move through busy sorting facilities.
Our recommendation
If you need items to arrive before Christmas, we strongly encourage you to place your order as soon as possible to allow maximum transit time.
Thank you for your patience — we appreciate your understanding during this busy period and are working hard to get your orders to you as quickly as possible.
We are pleased to announce that Siberia, Odens, and Makla are now available for purchase once again. Following the completion of our warehouse relocation, we have arranged with Isle of Man Customs to resume sales of these excisable products.
What this means for you
- All duties and taxes pre-paid: US customers will no longer face surprise customs fees. All excise duties and taxes are included in the product price and paid upfront.
- Faster customs clearance: With duties pre-paid, your orders should clear customs with minimal delays and no additional declarations required.
- Genuine, legitimate products: All stock is guaranteed authentic and compliant with US regulations.
- Reliable availability: Mr Snuff remains one of the few reliable sources for these products in North America.
Why this matters
Excisable products like chewing tobacco and makla require special customs bonding and regulatory compliance. During our warehouse move, this bond was temporarily suspended. We have now worked with Isle of Man Customs to resume sales while final paperwork is completed, ensuring these products are available to you without delay.
Thank you for your patience during this transition. We're excited to serve you again.

The boxes are unpacked, the shelves are stocked, and the coffee machine is brewing – we are absolutely thrilled to announce that our warehouse move is officially complete!
It's been quite the journey, but thanks to the hard work of our small, dedicated team, we've successfully transitioned to our new, improved space.
And now we're ready to get back to what we do best: getting your orders out the door with the care and speed you expect!
These changes are a direct result of new US tariffs and import regulations, and we want to be fully transparent about what this means for you.
- Price Adjustments for Tariffs: We have adjusted product prices to account for US tariffs, calculated per product's origin and HS Code.
- US Duties at Checkout: A separate duties line now appears at checkout to prevent surprise customs fees.
- Lower Prices on 299 Products: We have reduced prices on 299 products to help offset impacts.
A final note on shipping
We understand shipping costs remain high. We are waiting for IOM Post to resume standard US services and exploring an alternative US-based shipping agent.
Mail service to Canada via DHL is reinstated. Royal Mail is expected to return soon.
Clearing the backlog
- Tracking updates: You’ll receive tracking if you haven’t already.
- New orders welcome: You can now place new orders to Canada.
- Royal Mail returning soon: We anticipate Royal Mail service resuming shortly.
Thank you for your patience while services were paused.

We are relocating our warehouse. During the move, our excise duty bond is temporarily suspended, which affects stock that requires the bond.
We have a two-week window to clear bonded items. Remaining stock must be incinerated under customs supervision.
What this means for you
These products are priced at cost (plus required duty for UK). Restocking pauses until the new bond is in place.
Suspension of mail services to Canada
Please be advised of an immediate suspension of all shipping services to Canada.
Immediate action required
- Effective Date: September 30th, 2025 (until further notice).
- Do NOT place new orders requiring shipment to Canadian addresses.
- Items received for Canada will be returned to sender.
This is due to national strike action at Canada Post and related network impacts.
Following changes to the US de minimis rule, shipping paused on Aug 22. We resumed on Sep 16 and have since dispatched 2,008 parcels with a single-day high of 339 orders.

- Seven-Day Express is our current option: We reconfigured service to conform to new rules; more affordable rates are in progress.
- Your tariff is pre-paid: We currently absorb tariff costs to avoid surprise fees and speed customs clearance.
A look ahead: We’re working on more affordable options and exploring a dedicated US warehouse.
