Not sure I agree with the menthol reviews, is there any present? Slighly eucaliptus, but I am fairly certain that this must be due to the strength of the anise. Very much similar to arack. Not so long lasting in the nose, nice burn and great opening quality, but too much flavor for all day snuffing in my opinion. Much prefer the G&H anise, perhaps a blend of both would improve the weak anise flavor and dry flour of the G&H, and mellow out the strength of this moist, medium grind?

This is my daily snuff. I snurf it daily. Nice flavour. Nice tobaccoo. Awesome nic. hit. + this was my 1st snuff. It's awesome.

This snuff is a nice variation on the usual mentholated snuff varietal. Why? Because, in my estimation, it has a more well-rounded flavor. Usually mentholated snuff has a tendency to be kind of one dimensional in the nose, in my experience. I think that this snuff is different because of the underlying anise flavor. In actuality it is an anise flavored snuff and the 'extra' must be the mentholated quality. All in all these flavors seem to be kind of 'baked in' to the snuff, i.e. they do not taste like they were 'laid on top' of the snuff; they were very well integrated into the over all experience of the snuff. I think that you will have to be a licorice and a menthol aficcianado to appreciate this one. It has a very 'icy' quality in the nose that lingers for some time, even after blowing out. A good nasal clearer and very refreshing, but be advised that you must enjoy strong anise and menthol flavors to be a consistent user of this snuff. Good stuff. You will not ignore the fact that this one is in your nose.
