Bernard Klostermischung has a medium-coarse grind with moderate moisture and an oiled texture. The blend uses dark tobacco with tasting notes of smoky, molasses, fig, and chocolate. Secondary notes include raisin, maple, and brandy. Nicotine strength is medium.
The aroma is dark and sweet with a smoky character. The grind maintains a slightly granular consistency that avoids dustiness. This is a German schmalzler with the heavy oiling typical of Bernard's range.

Great snuff great company to deal with .will use again
This is my smoky barbecue snuff, probably what I'm taking most days all day long while working. I don't understand it, even though the nicotine is listed as medium, the hit I get is massive, and it's easy to snuff up a ton of it. Green Dragon doesn't feel like it's got nearly as much nicotine, and I can't just stick the fine and dry snuffs in front of my nose and go to town. The only downside to schmalzlers is that they produce an ungodly amount of drip for me, but I've come to enjoy it. I just have to be sitting and not doing a lot of looking downward, or my nose will constantly run.
Excellent flavor snuff. My first experience with Schmalzler style snuff. Molasses, chocolate raisin and hints of coffee. I really enjoy this blend of snuff. I highly recommend it.
