Bernard Klostermischung is a German snuff from Bernard, made with dark tobacco and carrying smoky, molasses, fig and chocolate notes. Raisin, maple and brandy are secondary, and the aroma is dark and sweet with a smoky edge.
The grind is medium-coarse and stays slightly granular without being dusty. The snuff is medium-moist with an oiled texture, and the oiling is heavy, as is usual across Bernard's range. Nicotine strength is medium.

Great snuff great company to deal with .will use again
This is my smoky barbecue snuff, probably what I'm taking most days all day long while working. I don't understand it, even though the nicotine is listed as medium, the hit I get is massive, and it's easy to snuff up a ton of it. Green Dragon doesn't feel like it's got nearly as much nicotine, and I can't just stick the fine and dry snuffs in front of my nose and go to town. The only downside to schmalzlers is that they produce an ungodly amount of drip for me, but I've come to enjoy it. I just have to be sitting and not doing a lot of looking downward, or my nose will constantly run.
