Viking - Scotch Dark
Viking - Scotch Dark
Viking Scotch Dark has a medium-fine grind with moist texture and medium nicotine strength. The tasting notes include ammonia, bergamot, bread, and whiskey. The tobacco base is dark with a coarse appearance.
The blend has woody and tobacco notes with a salty edge. The whiskey note is the strongest flavour component, with the bread note forming the base. The ammonia note is present initially but settles with time.

I can compare this to M&W black Rappee, viking brown, and SG silky dark. All three have very similar scent. Scotch dark is also similar but less intense, less burn, less smokey. Very easy to take and very mild dark tobacco scent. May be for you if the other dark varieties are too strong/smokey. I prefer viking brown.
Un tabaco excepcional, suave fácil de aspirar con una leve quemadura y un sabor tostado ligeramente salado.
Uno de mis preferidos junto al silky dark de gawith , y también al thor hamer de esta misma casa viking.
IMO this is slightly less coarse than taxi. It's much easier to sniff as a result.( For me taxi requires too much force to sniff. This however, is the perfect balance of grind) the flavor is terrific. Very similar to cope in that it is a moist "barnyard" only slightly less salty. I can use this both orally and nasally. So far my fave viking product.
Dark medium coarse and moist tobacco goodness. It is very similar to the old Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Brown which is no longer produced. The taste is woody and tobaccoish. I like it.
