Bernard - Original Schmalzlerfranzl

Bernard Original Schmalzlerfranzl is made from double-fermented Brazilian tobacco in the Bavarian schmalzler style. The aroma combines dried fruit, sweet molasses and fermented tobacco. Tasting notes include molasses, fig, dates and chocolate, with smoky and natural tobacco notes.

The sweet fruit and chocolate notes sit against a tobacco base with woody and nutty notes. The colour is dark brown. It has a medium-coarse grind and is medium-moist. Nicotine strength is medium.
