SNUV - Black Rose
SNUV - Black Rose
SNUV Black Rose has a medium-coarse grind with moderate moisture content. The colour is very dark brown. Tasting notes include rose, floral, earthy, and natural tobacco, with incense and woody notes as secondary elements. Nicotine strength is medium-high.
The rose note is restrained rather than overpowering, similar to dried rose petals. The blend uses an Indian-style tobacco base with the characteristic sweet, woody foundation typical of subcontinent production. The floral scenting includes a cooling element that adds brightness to the initial aroma.

The flavor is a excellent blend, with heavy moist earth, undertones that are balanced by dark rich flore's, the Nic hit is rather potent. A must try if you're looking for a strange OG floral snuff.
I love the scent of roses. Toque Rose is one of my favourites but it is a one dimensional (though lovely) beast when it come to the rose scent. Black Rose knocks it out of the park. It has the perfect round rose scent of a sublimely composed fragrance like the sadly discontinued Amouage Homage. Black Rose does have a blast of something chilling like a menthol but it's not overpowering. It opens the olfactory sense up and allows one to enjoy this snuff even further. The nic hit is lovely. A nice rush to head. It's a dark drown. The brown of a very fertile soil. Powder fine with a little moisture but not enough to where if you sniff just a bit too hard you'll blast it up your snooter. Highly recommended.
The sound of metal-on-metal friction of the unscrewing top heralds a succession of exquisite nasal pleasures that will unveil their profundity the hours to follow. The journey begins with the smell of rose water, muddled mint and the sweetness freshly cut grass wafting from the just-opened tin. Coarsely ground this dark brown snuff is not as black as the other snuffs in the series, but still twinkles from the tobacco and botanicals, which were fermented in brine. Upon uptake one is greeted by an uncommonly cool burn that morphs into a freshness of rose that is both deep and effervescent. It is not the synthetic rose oil of cheap perfumes but the Damascena rose essence found at Guerlain. As Black Rose seductively reveals itself, violet, green almond and lychee slowly join the symphonic crescendo of flavours in a rhinal manifestation of German Romanticism. A worthy companion to most hedonistic pleasures, it is well suited Pinot Noir Champagnes such as Laurent Perrier’s Cuvée Rosé.
This has a very nice long lasting slightly musky rose scent to me with a pleasant bold nicotine content which just keeps lingering and is a very nice experience. I could easily see myself whiffing several cans of this a week.
