Bentzy's - Heimish Tabik Pardes

Heimish Tabik (Pardes) is made by Bentzion in New York from a half-and-half blend of exotic and domestic tobaccos combined with dark air-cured leaf. It has a fine grind and is medium-moist, with medium nicotine. The scent centres on camphor and frankincense, with hand-distilled orange, lavender and hibiscus oils; menthol in coconut oil and eucalyptus complete the blend, giving medium menthol. Tasting notes include incense, citrus, floral and mint.

The name Pardes is Hebrew for "orchard" or "garden". The snuff was originally made to meet the Kosher for Passover needs of the local community and is now available year-round outside it.
