Prime Kentucky Fire Cure sauced with a concentrate made from boiling leaves in water salted with Maldon Sea Salt, fermented for six months and matured for a further six to create a sweet, black, moist, peppery, demi gros, old fashioned high nicotine snuff.

NB: As with any natural tobacco product, artisan nasal snuff can be susceptible to mould if it is not stored correctly. All of our snuffs are heat treated before packing to ensure an indefinite shelf-life whilst in the original, unopened containers. Our snuffs are traditionally made without chemical preservatives and we recommend that once opened the snuffs should be kept in the tightly closed brand container and stored in a refrigerator. Only decant using a clean, dry implement.

Sir Walter Scott - Black Rappee

Rich, complex, dark with different subtle layers, very old school. Highly recommended

Aged Border Rapee

It took me a while to write this review because it took me a while to fully appreciate everything this blend offers.

First impression was that it seemed dry, was quite coarse, has a very good, deep and earthy tobacco smell with hints of dark fruit. Smells similar to a good brown rope tobacco, likely owing to the kentucky leaf. Has a hellacious backdrip burn. The texture almost made me wonder if it was meant to be dipped rather than snuffed.

After using it for a while, wow! The nic hit was quite satisfying from the start, but it took a little while for my nose to puck up on all the subtle hints of plum and earth and other indescribable scents that are wonderful and blend perfectly. The moisture is just right even though it seems dry. The grind is coarse but it seems to make the absorption slower and thus the scent develops over time rather than right away. Backdrip still burns like hell.

If i could only have one blend for the rest of my life, this would be it.
