Poschl Gletscherprise, as the name implies, is a pinch off the ol' glacier. This amalgam of prize tobacco leaves and a spicy brew of eucalyptus, camphor and Mentholatum that combine to provide a dramatic lift with just one whiff. This aggregate produces a very refreshing and cooling sensation in the nose without undue discomfort. The nicotine is mild but the sensation is bold. This snuff may be eligible for your rotation, give it a whirl and see.

2 things Germany seems to do right. At this point in the snuff market everyone should try this snuff. It's fluffy, it's burn is short, it's just menthol and mid dark tobacco, it's a standard. I've been all across the US and never worked with a Dutchman, German or Belgian that didn't have a pinch of the old glacier to share. Good straight. Good to mix.
Came across this website out of curiosity of what snuff is. Ordered a couple popular packs, not having any idea of what I was looking for. (Didn't read descriptions either) Very surprised with this product, great menthol-cooling feel, nice and refreshing. Will be purchasing more in the future.

Gletscher Prise is one of those classic snuffs that is so easy to take for granted. Pleasant and approachable, yet also hugely complex and exceptionally balanced, it offers delightful impressions of menthol, peppermint, fir oil, and horehound over a bed of rich cola, black cherry, dark chocolate, earth, peat, caramel, camphor, eucalyptus, molasses, juniper, and wintergreen. The grind is coarse, and the moisture content is high, allowing the snuff to sit in the nose very well. Nicotine content is somewhere between low and medium. One could easily do this snuff all day. I know that I certainly can. Check this one out if you are looking for a classic, mellow mentholated snuff with admirable complexity and depth.
