Fribourg & Treyer High Dry T is perhaps the most refined toasted tobacco on the market today. This classic flavor represents what English snuff making has always taken pride in. An astute mixture that is a perfectly seasoned recipe of tobaccos that offer both subtle and complex fragrances. The powder come in a medium brown color, velvety fine grind and little to no moisture. This toast will be quite noticeable in the nose but fades rapidly and is transformed to a savory experience, followed by a nice nicotine kick. Enjoy a pinch today.
Available in a variety of convenient container sizes.
Complex, classic, highish strength for a British snuff. Does its job perfectly
This was my first toast and it is fantastic. Wasn't at all as difficult to take as I thought it would be. Very nice in the nose, decent nicotine. Quickly becoming one of my favorites. Definitely recommend
This is the king or queen of the toasts. It deserves all the royal implications and delivers on all the hype. This is beloved by so many (including me) and there is a reason for that. This IS the best toast. It's carefully crafted with the perfect balance of natural tobacco flavor and what I call a buttered popcorn scent. If you are avoiding this because it is hard to take, you are doing yourself a big injustice. There is nothing better in the toast style; it isn't burnt or smoked nor overly perfumed like many F&T offerings. This is done right. Yes, take it with care, and you will be rewarded. Again, this is the top of the line toast out there. There are competitors that just aren't up to the mark of F&T HDT. Toasted tobaccos must be toasted just enough not to exceed a particular threshold beyond which you end up with smoke that obscures the delicate intention of a toast....WoS #22 IHDT crosses that fine line, this one does not. There is care that is put into this and not just perfume to give the illusion of royalty. I love toasts and scotch of all makes a models but if you want the Rolls Royce, this is it. It's an investment - not an expense. If you are on the fence about this, you will not be disappointed. Give it a go.
A wonderful leathery pleasure similar to the Irish No 22 but with more spice and strong cheese notes; like melting Roblechon on warm toast with curry sprinkled on top. I particularly enjoyed it after a simple meal of grilled Wagyu and steamed greens. To be enjoyed with the traditional fortified wines of the Douro valley.
