Poschl Andechs Spezial combines the best of the herb garden with the best of the spice garden. The tobacco taste is layered with hints of bitters enveloped in a floral bouquet with a slightly evergreen licorice flavor that fades to a perfect note of spicy mint. The grind is medium coarse, quite fluffy, moist with a milk chocolate color. The nicotine rush is quite substantial with little or no discomfort to the nose. Truly a remarkable offering that stands out from the crowd.

Available in a convenient 10 gram dispenser.

It's a keeper!

I think I will keep this in my normal rotation. Love the scents has a nice menthol punch to it that I enjoy. Its an easy one to take.

When I go to a snuff site, I usually try to see if they have this snuff. I would not say it is an everyday snuff; no, it is much too valuable for that! I love herbal flavored anything, but I've found herbal snuffs to be a let-down, but not this one. I am sure that it has peppermint oil (not menthol) as well, which I love. I love the smell of real peppermint (spirament not so much). Anywho, I am being called to dinner; otherwise, I'd go on a bit longer.

Very similar to Radford's premium, except instead of chocolate mint, it is hops and mint. I have been growing hops for years to flavor cheese (I do not drink) and the piney scent of the northern varieties, floral ones, not the bitterant variety, is present. It comes on moderately up front then fades to chocolate. Menthol level is a little higher than Gawith Original (Apricot) medium/high but not nearly as strong as president, for example, else the chocolate would be undetectable. If you want a change of pace from the more usual scents this is a good place to start!

They should mark this as mentholated, but either way, pretty decent.
Smooth upon snuffing, has a mild menthol hit. I don't know if I would say it was "spicy", it's much more minty in my opinion.
