"At first sniff, I was welcomed by the fresh scent of a peach's skin and the brisk buzz of nicotine. Easy on my nose and refreshing to my senses, Conwood's(American Snuff Company) Peach Sweet has instantly brought joy and conjured up memories upon first sniff. The scent and flavor is quite reminiscent of the freshly peeled skin of a recently harvested peach. The grind is at just the right level: not too fine, not too coarse. The nicotine, both refreshing and brisk. Peach Sweet is a wonderful and exuberant snuff for both first time sniffers and snuff junkies alike. Not fake, not choking, not overpowering. This snuff will be a hit with both male and female snuff takers."

One hoping for a fruity Peach snuff may be quite disappointed in this, as the only thing that is similar is maybe the tobacco base for the Peachey chewing tobacco which shares some similarities with this I noticed (also made by American Snuff Co) It's a typical American sweet which is more geared towards dipping, of which this and Honey Bee are two of the best. It's about the same as the other sweets in the ASC lineup. There is some light smokiness also. This was the very first Sweet Snuff released by the then Conwood corporation around 1931. Personally I prefer it for dipping but it's nice to have in the arsenal.
I stumbled across a can of this many years ago. I adored it. Kept it in my car and always had it right there in a pinch. When it ran out and I could no longer find it I was heartbroken. But here it is, and as tasty as ever. The word "sweet" hardly begins to describe it. It is a fine, dry, long-lasting experience that delivers great satisfaction both in terms of hit, scent, and flavor. No stuff is for everyone, but this snuff is a legendary stuff to me. Five years later it is just as good as I remembered it.
I really like the very fresh scent of Peach that this snuff has. It has just the right amount in my opinion. an everyday snuff I would say, I found it to be very enjoyable and also has quite a bit of nicotine which means that you use less each time so it goes an awfully long way. I would order several as you will find that soon it will be getting near the bottom of the container.
NOT SCENTED WITH PEACH!
I sampled this one from a friend's stash. My mentor warned me sternly that this is "as sweet as a peach," not "scented with peach." As I recall, it had a pleasant natural tobacco aroma like a cigar humidor.
It was an awesome taste -- sweet, easy to take, medium-fine grind, with plenty of nicotine to enjoy. I firmly resolved to order a tin with my next purchase.
We should forgive Conwood for teasing us with the pretty peach. This venerable label snuff came out in 1931 as one of the first sweet snuffs on the market. They did not imagine all of the artificially fruit-flavored snuffs that we have today.
A great snuff -- and a must-try for anyone interested in trying the antique American snuffs that are still available.
I realy do not know what the other reviewer was talking about but I detect NO PEACH. it says on the can "sweet as a peach" not peach flavored. I was realy missled by the other review and want everyone to know what it actual'y is. no offense to the last guy but i have used about 8g of this and still no peach just very sweet and smokey. not as smokey as other products from this company but it is there. I do recomend it but it is very fine and dry, and sometimes difficult to take. good nicotine content alsoe
