"Tube Rose is a most pleasurable snuff indeed. It has a sweet tone that isn't dominating. I's somewhat floral scent is very similar to Society Snuff. When sniffing Tube Rose you'll notice that it has a nice nicotine punch to it. It is a good quality snuff, but I do find that Society has a better floral scent flavor than Tube Rose."

One of my favorite sweet snuffs to use nasally

Although this isn't listed as a sweet scotch, it is, but not overbearingly sweet. An earthier darker smoke taste here, I think earthy is a good word. Sort of in between Dental and Square Snuff, perhaps? Smoky, campfire odor again and stuffy buzz. More of a head knocker like Dental Scotch. Doesn't seem to be as strong as Dental, but still has a chokey bite that is characteristic of the more "toasted" darker brown characteristic the ASC snuffs have, for sure. The interesting thing is the flavor is a light tuberose floral scent - NOT regular rose - which gives this snuff a uniqueness amongst the American sweets, but not as floral as Society or Buttercup. Was originally manufactured by Brown & Williamson out of my home town Winston-Salem, NC.

A Layer Of Complexity

This is a sweet scotch with a more complex flavor than Honey Bee or WE Garrett Sweet and thus sets it apart in my opinion from many of the other sweet scotches, which tend to be a little one-dimensional - Tuberose goes beyond the molasses or honey or powdered sugar of many sweet scotches and adds a layer of complexity not typical of this genre. It is sweet and the backdrip is very pleasant. I love this first thing in the morning especially. It seems just a bit more moist than most scotches and thus just a bit easier to take but that could be the result of the pleasant sweet drip you get in the event you hit the back of your throat. Still, a fantastic one to have around; it's in my daily rotation. 5/5.

Understated Sweetness

Because, I like W.E. Garrett and Dental so much, I decided I'd have another go at Conwood's sweet snuffs. Tube Rose is not bad. The sweetness is very understated here, which is a plus compared to Garrett Sweet and Mild. I've heard it has a mild floral scent, but I don't get it. I'm guessing that is part of my newbie nose still. It's very fine and dry, so it's still a little tough for me to take. This is only my 2nd sweet, but this is far better that Garrett Sweet. I still would recommend a scotch over this and this container will last quite a while because they are other snuffs I'm much more fond of.

Nice Dose Of Vitamin N

I finally got to try it and I really like the floral and smokey scent also the sweetness. Also it has a very good dose of vitamin N which is good.I think everyone should try it at least once in their lifetime.
I will order more in the future if it's still available.

Indeed Above Average

Tube rose is a capricious snuff, for it combines both uncompromising brutality and delicate olfactory caresses. The brutality is most noticeable during the act of snuffing, for, as a scotch, Tube Rose is quite fine, and quite dry, thereby lending itself to oversnuffing. The scent is much less of a brute than the snuffing experience. It provides an exceptional combination of the somewhat pastry like smell of tuberose, and that distinct smokiness which is characteristic of the American scotches. So, in summation, this snuff isn't perfect, but is indeed above average.
