Let me start out by saying, I typically don't like florals. However, I love most of Toque snuffs. I figured that if anyone could make a floral snuff that didn't make me think of a nursing home, it would be Toque. And they did it. Violet smells more like flowers than soap or perfume. I can definitely see myself using this from time to time. I cannot give a high rating because I can't see myself ordering this one again once I run out. It's just my own personal taste on floral snuffs. That said, if you do like this kind of thing, you are missing out in not trying this already.
I'll be truthful: I can't ever remember sniffing a violet.
But after trying this snuff, I had to seek out a friend who raises them to see if they were the same.
Only Toque Violet remains in the nose long after the real thing fades from memory.
Bright, cheerful and long lasting, this is a snuff that might accused of overstaying it's welcome. Except it smells so darned nice it's almost worth that one small flaw.
Also be aware that the tobacco itself takes a back seat to this potent fragrance. While not an everyday snuff for me, it still has a place in weekly lineup.
I like this one because it's kind of soft on the nose, but it's still very dry. The smell is just awesome I have always loved violets, but had never thought about carrying one around in my nose. With this snuff I can though, with ought the people looking at me funny for having a stem hanging out of my nose.
