What a snuff! This is a triumph for Toque and by far my favourite Toque offering; smooth, very chocolaty, bare minimal nasal irritation, pure scent and it's also a favourite for those new to snuff, trying it for the first time. I could take a tin of this out with me for the day and be quite satisfied with it without getting bored at all.

I was confused as to why I ordered 2 Toque Chocolates but immediately noticed they smelled different. I thought it was a packaging issue, but then looking at my account orders I see it is 2 different Toques. I would say, very generally, that the ToqueUSA is more chocolate-y, but the Toque is creamier. Both are pleasant & very fine. My favorite choc is still Dholakia Swiss Chocolate. My boyfriend's favorite is the 6 Photo Chocolicious.
This blend is on the medium to fine side of snuffs and is inhaled with minimal effort. The chocolate flavor is subtle yet creamy and will make anyone with an affinity towards chocolate very pleased. This has become one of my go to's when I am not in the mood for menthols.
This is the perfect beginners snuff. It has a strong, and extremely pleasant taste of chocolate. When I smell this in the tin, I just want to eat it.
It's also easy to take; and has minimal nose burn/irritation, and the nicotine hit I would say is medium.
How Toque can get the flavors to be so good is something I will never understand. It's like they have bought the finest chocolates and thrown them in the grinder together with the tobacco. Fantastic.
It could be used all day, but I treat myself with this occasionally. It's great as an after-dinner treat.
Okay, I get that Toque is a good marketing scheme. I really hope it turns younger snuffers into the great world of snuff. If you have tried any kind of Toque and you like it, please try a great Bernard Virginne, or a Dr. Rumneys Eucolytpus...just because you think Toque is cool, try the older, older, snuffs. To me, all the Toque offers smell like burnt plastic...sure the flavor is there, but it is so artificial that, well, it just isnt' snuff..
A must try! Unless you absolutely hate chocolate, this snuff is sure to please. The tobacco base is excellent. The grind is in the dry English style. The Toque snuffs are super fresh so they do well in wood snuff boxes which allow them to breathe a little before snuffing which allows the scent to blossom. Chocolate is also a very familiar, traditional addition to tobacco. Knowing this and a little about tobacco aging I have an extra 25gm tin that I have set aside. Highly recommended! It's also great to use for mixing with other Toque flavors!
