Splendid Brasil tobacco, medium to slightly coarse in grind, moist but not too moist, quite easy to take for a Schmalzler! Very delicate flavor in there reminding of strong coffee and slightly of cocoa. Veeeery deep flavour, but absolutely not overwhelming, rather cheering up and warming, comforting.

I’m 3 days in to nasal snuff. This was my third snuff I cracked open. Figs, dates, cocoa, vanilla, grandad’s old leather shop. I wish my nose was bigger. Already ordered another 100g bag. Buy it. Snuff it. Enjoy it.
This schmalzer has a beautiful touch of coco with a steady flow of rich expresso, very easy to take for snuff of its sort. I want to thank everyone at mr.snuff for this product trully wonderful! Tom
This is a very nice snuff. Easy on the nose, no burn , no ammonia or perfume, just a medium grind not too dry masterpiece that is hard to lay down. I'm glad I got the 100 g bag. If you like chocolate coffee kinda with hints of brown sugar, you will love this. I like it for a new all day snuff. But be warned, have a hankie ready for you will have some drippage
Like the other reviews, this coffee/ chocolate snuff is delightful! Soft on the nose, easily snuffed up in large portions, great texture, not too moist, not too dry, like Goldilocks " just right"! If you like the other Poschl schmalzlers, you love this one. Get some, you won't regret having this in your collection.
This is a great schmalzler, perhaps my personal favorite. I like that it isn't extremely moist, nor is it extraordinarily coarse. These factors make Perlesreuter one of the easier schmalzlers to take.
The scent is incredibly rich. I get mainly chocolate and coffee, but I also get a subtle aroma of dark fruit (maybe date or fig, I'm not entirely sure). It's a sweet, decadent smell. Once I start in on Perlesreuter, I have a hard time stopping. It just smells delightful.
I'd put the nicotine level around medium plus. It doesn't give me a buzz, but it certainly soothes the beast. Like most schmalzlers, it can be messy to use. That being the case, this is not one that I use out in public. But when I'm at home by myself, I can't get enough of it.
I highly recommend Schmalzler Perlesreuter. Beginners and experts alike should give this one a whirl. It will always have a place in my rotation.
