Gulabari is another feather in the cap of this quality snuff maker. This blend of traditional Indian aromas are intertwined and develop an original personality. This is a golden colored tobacco with an extremely fine grind that has little to no moisture. The nicotine level is substantial but beware of the pinch, it needs to be deposited delicately in the nose to avoid the burn. Amazing how this country can offer so many different quality snuffs.

Available in several convenient container sizes.

Reminds me of shaving soap.

Reminds me of shaving soap, that kinda powdery scent. Super fine grind, its like confecionters' sugar level fine, reminds me a lot of American scotch snuff. Hard to sniff, but pinching and placing in my nose works fine and delivers a decently lasting scent. Dont really detect much menthol despite the description, but thats fine with me. And on the American scotch snuff, and the companies recommendation for oral use, my experience: This is where the menthol comes in. I put just a bit of it in my bottom lip and it immediately started to feel a bit frosty, like a light mint. Not much flavor otherwise and dissolves fairly quickly. Overall, a very pleasant snuff, I like the clean soapy scent, though the grind is a bit too fine and can lead to some irritation.

Use with Caution

An excellent rose scented snuff. Very fine powder, so take cautiously.

Not My Favorite

I'm a big fan of aromatic Indian snuffs, but this is an atrocity. Initial overwhelming smell of unnatural shampoo with a raw barnyard aftertaste. Scent stayed in nose for hours after despite my attempt to remedy it with nasal spray and other snuffs. I did like how the tin was made from a repurposed dry shampoo canister, two stars for intrigue! Perhaps I can find a horticultural use for it.

Namaste in the Nose

Dry and finely ground so sniff gently. Very nice rose scent that lingers on for quite a while. Gives an intense burn initially which I find nice. Pale brown in colour. Gives that immidiate feeling of 'I'm in India - Namaste' once its in the nose. Good stuff!
