Fribourg & Treyer High Dry T is perhaps the most refined toasted tobacco on the market today. This classic flavor represents what English snuff making has always taken pride in. An astute mixture that is a perfectly seasoned recipe of tobaccos that offer both subtle and complex fragrances. The powder come in a medium brown color, velvety fine grind and little to no moisture. This toast will be quite noticeable in the nose but fades rapidly and is transformed to a savory experience, followed by a nice nicotine kick. Enjoy a pinch today.

Available in a variety of convenient container sizes.

Unexpected

I received the Classic tin with no seal. I was surprised because of the quality products I am used to receiving from Mr.Snuff. When I opened the tin, there was no bouquet. Very faint aroma. I tried the product and ... nothing. I had previously tried the F&T High Dry T in the 20g tin and it was amazing, I thought I was getting the same product, but I was deceived. The Classic tin was Nothing like the 20g tin. I wrote to Mr.Snuff customer service and I am waiting for an answer. Maybe because there was no seal on the Classic tin and the aroma and taste was gone. Maybe it was an old tin. I don't know. I am very confused on the product I was supposed to receive. I really expected the same product as the 20g F&F High Dry T.

Hello Nicolas,

in theory there should be no difference at all in the snuffs. HDT does not have any flavours other than toasty tobacco.

We managed to get Classic tins from Wilsons' and were happy to do so mainly for nostalgic reasons. For decades this was the style known and loved by the snuff community.

Please contact customer service and we'll send you another tin.

Best regards,

Mr. Snuff

Barnyard Fun!

A wonderful leathery pleasure similar to the Irish No 22 but with more spice and strong cheese notes; like melting Roblechon on warm toast with curry sprinkled on top. I particularly enjoyed it after a simple meal of grilled Wagyu and steamed greens. To be enjoyed with the traditional fortified wines of the Douro valley.

Amazing Layering

I would like to state that I am new to snuff (been going strong with it for a little over a month now. I started out with Toque snuffs, which I really enjoyed, and found that I really prefer the "toast" snuffs. After looking around some snuff forums and the like, I saw that many people saw F&T HDT is the "gold standard" so to speak of the toast variety. I promptly ordered a 50g tin, and grabbed a pinch as soon as it arrived in the mail. All I can say is WOW. This product has such an amazing layering of smells and flavors that the Toque toasts (although great), did not have. It is really intriguing trying to figure out exactly what you are tasting every time you use it, as the taste almost seems to change from pinch to pinch. I am IN LOVE with this snuff, and will definitely be using it as a staple in my daily snuff routine. Hats off to F&T, this is the best I've tried by far. I'm certainly a life-long convert :] If you are interested in toasts, and have not tried this out, grab a tin right now! I promise you won't be disappointed.
