The product arrived in the stipulated time, excellent product.
I was bit put off by some of the previous reviews but decided to try this spit tobacco. I wrap mine in tissue paper to keep it together. Unlike say the Fire & Ice, this is an oily collection of plant material. The initial burn was intense for me but after subsequent use that initial burn has died down. I find the taste pleasant, but it is exotic so I could imagine others not enjoying it as much. I have a high nicotine tolerance but the nicotine hit from this made me forget about wanting a smoke. All in all, a fine product to which I shall return
The name seems expressive. Good quality, old recipe I hear. Kinda reminds me of the Tom buck. Hard to place the scent. A smooth grind, fine and fluffy. I don't sneeze much anymore but may cause some to sneeze. Bit of a bite. Not too perfumey but like I said, like the Tom buck but with a little bit of a men's cologne scent. So maybe it has the bergamot scent with a little musk. That's my guess. Maybe a little citrus? Either way, i truly enjoy this. One of my favorites from wilsons. Good outdoors and indoors, notice more of the spice outdoors and more of the floral scent indoors. Recommended for those that like a classic snuff with a little bite.
I can’t believe there isn’t a review of this yet. This is my first review and I felt it necessary to do so. This snuff is the end of the line, best blend I’ve ever tried. Most importantly, unlike other Bernard Schmalzlers, it has no throat drip whatsoever. Overall it’s rich Smokey tobacco. No synthetic or fruity scents. At first you’re hit with a rich earthy tobacco, barnyard and hay. Very light barnyard, not off putting at all. Then a mix, the richness and cocoa plus menthol. But not menthol in a strong way, just subtle, totally perfect. The menthol and cocoa are fleeting and leave you with long lasting rich tobacco, bacon and biscuits cooked on a wood stove. After a few pinches I ordered 100 grams and still feel the need to double that.
From the few SP’s I have tried this one is just as good as any others if you like sp’s give it a try why not. :)
Now when I first received it I was sad as I probably lost a lot of the snuff from the can in shipping... this was one of my first order, so only later did I find out I could have contacted MrSnuff and probably gotten some help. What I did have left is fantastic. I put it in a baby food jar and came back to it and noticed a very strange and strong ammonia scent which was easily taken care of by leaving the lid off the jar for a day. This is one of the strongest snuffs that I tried that I could really feel the nicotine. I think it’s stronger than cheeta, white elephant, and white horse. I really do enjoy this one. It has a really nice burn that some people may find unpleasant but I think it is lovely. If you like white snuffs and or have a high nic tolerant your looking for something that will really sort you out I recommend getting a can of this Afghan white snuff!
The end game of snuff. I can't give a review that gives this snuff justice. The less you buy, the more thats left for me. Back off MY Irish #22. There isn't enough for you.
I discovered M&W's Particular when I was in London last year and visited the Covent Garden shop, but foolishly only bought one can, only to find to my dismay that no online vendors that shipped to the US carried it. So when I learned that Mr. Snuff had started carrying it, I did a little dance of joy then ordered several cans, which I've been enjoying thoroughly. I love Jock's Choice too, but Particular will always be my first love.
Of all the snuffs I've tried, M&W varieties has been head and shoulders above the rest for my tastes. My order of Jock's Choice just arrived today, and man, it would be tough to decide between it and the Particular. Let's just say that with the latter, imho it's one of the two best snuffs I've ever tried.
Hi, can I order it in New Zealand ?
>>We ship to New Zealand so there should not be an issue. However you should check local customs regulations.
Love the white grape. Are the other Paul Gotards caffeinated?
>>Some of the white Paul Gotards are caffeinated. Please check the descriptions.
My package was sent back due to customs being weird but the Mr. Snuff team did not even hesitate to resend free of charge. Who ever talks down on this company I feel has never truly communicated and have them a chance. Especially with the pricey shipping and how they were willing to send right away shows a lot in how they care for their customers. Thanks MrSnuff team for getting my favorite snuffs sent back to me. The Gawith original is my favorite and had multiple sachets in my box. I’m glad the second time around it only took 7 days to get here. Give this one a try if you have not already. A great beginner snuff too. Thanks again MrSnuff
Really good mentholated snuff!! If you like menthol snuffs this one should be on your list to try. Only thing is I wish you could buy a bigger amount of it. But I do enjoy the cute 7 gram tap box this one has.
I saw Snuv and thought, cool, a new name in snuff? I ordered before doing any research to understand that this is not a tobacco snuff. If you want long lasting artificial flavours up your nose, a long lasting burn and a hole in your pocket this will do nicely. For me it is not the one. I don't understand why you'd want a snuff that looks like tobacco but has none - and is not more healthy than a tobacco snuff, most likely less healthy as this has so much nicotine and a ton of chemicals. All the pain but none of the gain. Meh
This has the strong smell of floor cleaner with the (pleasant?) burn of nicotine. Almost a creeper, after a few minutes prepare to sneeze your head off and love every second of it.
