This is serious snuff. No flavouring; no artifice; only pulverized tobacco and a high nicotine hit. Dr. Rumney’s Brown tastes of tanned leather and cow pastures; very similar to Sharrow’s Irish No 22 but without the Reblochon cheese. Great to enjoy when coming back to pinching after your sinuses revolt from the perfume and talcum of flavoured snuffs. To quote Ren & Stimpy: “Its Toasterrific!”
NO MENTHOL in this product, i say this because i was put off by mr snuffs summary , but this snuff is a fine blend of plain tobaccos with a toasted flavour and a decent kick i wish i'd tried this when it first came out , could be an everyday snuff very moreish
Love it.I have never used snuff except for these from last order and I got 2 snuffs and some chew.Cannot handle chew. Not to my preference but love the nasal snuff and love this Dr Rumneys Brown.
This is one of the new Dr. Rumney's offerings from Wilson's. It is NOT mentholated. Rather, it is somewhere between natural and a toast. It has the texture and feel of Wilson's Natural, but has the toasty scent of their #22 toast. So, it's a combination of the two, as far as I can tell. It's good, but not what you would expect under the Dr. Rumney's logo.
If you thought all Dr. Rumney's snuffs were mentholated, think again. This new snuff is medium brown, easy to snuff, high in nicotine, and most unusual of all, it is not flavored at all. I detect a toasted scent, but it is darker and rather smooth and delicious. I read it's description on the Wilson's website, and it's spot-on. Nothing but plain, toasty, tobacco. It's fresh and fluffy, and will spill out of the tin if you're not careful. Highly recommended for new snuffers and veterans alike. If you like Wilson's Irish Toast, you'll enjoy this. It's different, but similar.
