Golden brown, finely ground, with medium moisture. It's slightly fluffy and in keeping with other Samuel Gawith snuffs. It is easy to take, though it has some initial nose burn. Previous reviews have identified sandalwood, but I detect menthol, eucalyptus and oil of wintergreen.
They are well balanced and create a distinctive deep aroma with a hint of fruitiness. Very invigorating and an interesting alternative to McChrystals O&G. A sportsman's snuff, but steer clear if you don't like the smell of muscle rub.
The color is medium brown ,The grind is silky medium, The texture is fluffy. The moisture level is medium/dry .The scent is wintergreen.
The menthol is low as an effect very well balanced .only the slightest burn factor.easy enough for a beginner, complex enough for the veteran snuff user.S.G. snuffs are a great value for freshness .
If your not a big fan of menthol snuffs this one you may enjoy.
