Samuel Gawith Black Arabica is a quality blend that has a mature personality. The coffee flavor is a rich dark roast with a silky smooth finish. The only bitterness is the caffeine bite that only enhances the tobacco taste. There are notes of leather, burning straw and toffee that are qualifiers that will differ for each person. So let us admit it is compellingly complex. The color is quite dark and the texture is moist with a medium coarse grind. Beware with the intake as the burn can be significant but short lived and the reward is quite surprising with a major endorphin stimulation that is extremely pleasant. Espresso for the nose.

This you have to tap out very slowly the first time I nearly dumped the whole box out but I got the smell of a skinned knee with bandaids and a bunch of little pieces of rubber half burnt but I must say this gets 4 stars just because the nicotine is decent the flavor though isn’t unpleasant just strange
The first impression I got from this snuff was that it smells like copenhagen dip. After a minute I was able to pick out some of the coffee flavour to it. Definelty has tobacco as the main flavour profile though. Has a course grind and more moisture than most English snuffs, also packs a real nic hit to it, which I wasn't expecting.
This is a lovely snuff. The black coffee scent is tastefully balanced against that of the wonderful tobacco base. The grind is semi-coarse and moderately moist, very easy to take. The scent stays around for quite a long time. The nicotine content is satisfying. I would by this is larger quantities. Recommended.
When I first tried it I was a bit disappointed because I expected a coffee taste... thankfully I heard that one has to acclimate to a new experience of this sort. So it turns out my snorting unit was not accustomed to such fineries. Only after a week I started getting a very nice subtle coffee vybe with its exquisite black pipe tobacco taste. There is also a proper technique one must utilize to enjoy this medium coarse ground and medium moist tobacco product if one wants to experience the full niceness that it brings to the nasal cavity and beyond. Id say it has quite a nice nic hit, medium to strong, with a proper burn, especially when one takes a larger bump, or few. Makes me feel like I'm strolling down a cobblestone street looking for a pub and a pint of fermented hop juice.
This stuff is serious business. The coffee flavoring synergizes with and amplifies the tobacco in a way that puts the "flavor" here completely over the top, and the nicotine delivery falls right in line with that over the top ideal. This one might not be such a good choice for snuff newcomers, on account of that, but for a nose properly seasoned to receive, this delivers in full.
I'd describe the flavor as 'dark roast meets pipe tobacco'. I know there are some who dislike tap boxes, and I'd want this in the tin as well -- at home -- but, out and about, a 10g tap box of this is practically a requirement for Yours Truly.
