Poschl Schmalzler SF Sudfrucht is the bomb. This delightfully full Schmalzler is perfectly flavored with tropical fruit and floral notes that overlay a rich tobacco smell of cacao and Safawi black dates. The aromas are so delightful that satiation never seems to come, hence candidate for an all day snuff. Highly recommended to the novice, this blend is easy to take, dark, buttery rich with a coarse crumb that offers a moderate, let's say an evening dose, of nicotine. Make no mistake, this snuff is a must in any collection.

Poschl Schmalzler SF Sudfrucht Sachet 25g
This one was a surprise for me. So good, you get brandy, rum, apricots, vanilla, brown sugar. No menthol. Cheap and amazing. I absolutely devoured this packet.
ordered this snuff took a pinch though it would have a grind like wilsons of sharrow Beltane snuff and bigger with meat fats dripping from it instead got the almost regular grind of poschl snuff quick dissolving brand and tasted like slow gin liquor! And thought the grind large falls out of the nose and the main animal fats transfer the fruit flavors, so only giving it a 3! maybe it gets better over time!
Beautiful fruity scent of figs, plums, cherries. Delightfully moist schmalzler. This is like having a holiday fruit cake up your nose in a perfectly good way. It isn't overly strong and there's no bitterness. 5 stars, it's great.
Being new to snuff, I've been gleefully trying new ones and sharing my favorites with my son. I'm a fan of the fruit and liqueur snuffs from Toque, so based on this one's description and being fairly ignorant about the different styles of snuff available, I was excited to try this one. It's definitely not for me. Wet + sticky + dried-fruit scented = an effect I imagine equates to cramming a Fig Newton up my nose. Maybe I'll come back to the Schmalzlers later, but I don't think I'll be acquiring a taste for this any time soon.
