Poschl S-Type is an ode to Mentha spicata whose common name is spearmint. This essence has a crisp, spicy flavor that has been effectively used as a common medicinal for eons. The smell not only triggers benefits for the body but also for the mind with a soothing and calming effect. This pervasive flavor has been perfectly balanced with a traditional tobacco taste to create this remarkable powdered delight. The snuff is easy to take and has benefits galore with a nice nicotine reward. Well worth the effort, cheers and have a pinch.

I typically don't like lots menthol in my snuff. My first pinch was all menthol and I was disappointed, I thought something was lost in translation. However after a couple more pinches, I realized this was the bomb. The menthol fades away and the spearmint takes over and the whole experience is amazing and difficult to explain. It's expensive for a reason. This packet disappeared super fast.
Nice spearmint, not as artificial as silver dollar spearmint but also moister and more coarsely ground. Slight menthol - this mixed with Fichtenadel is the perfect snuff IMHO
This snuff is in my top 10 favorites. The spearmint is there and fairly pronounced and it is wonderful! There is some menthol in it, but not overpowering. A wonderful snuff for mint lovers and a good one for beginners as well. Easily an everyday snuff.
Leave it to the Germans to produce something so impossibly decadent. Richly flavoured as Wrigley's but with a deliciously fermented base and just a touch of menthol, this one is a winner. Whilst most mentholated snuffs tend to be cloying and not suitable for all day use, this one is balanced enough to go in the snuffbox for all day pinching. Very moist and typically Poschl in its grind, this is something that those who avoid menthol snuff or schmaltzers can truly enjoy. Excellent for novices, it holds up very well for expert noses too.
