I recently bought some SWS series. I could quickly compare to the Rapee, Havana toast , Golden Horn and others, but honestly this is the best snuff from SWS. Of course, only if you very like Latakia and tobacco taste. No menthol or other plants here. If you are a pipe smoker, and you usually enjoy MacBaren Latakia , this is a 5 star for sure.
This is incredible snuff! Especially true if, as in my case, you are a pipe smoker who prefers English/oriental blends. After first trying this smoky blend I went and ordered more so I wouldn
Wow. This stuff is incredible. I'm a beginner, but I found this course, black snuff easy to take. Hardly any burn at all. The aroma is amazing. This is definitely for the Latakia lovers out there, as that's about all I get in terms of scent. Very curious to try some other SWS snuffs.
Simply brilliant. This exquisite snuff by some miraculous design captures the Latakia experience as it relates to pipe smoking. The jar note is pure English blend, think camp fire, cream, and lemons. This snuff is fairly coarse and quite moist yet it is fluffy enough to be an easy sniff even for beginners. Taken in to the nose, the peppery character of this blend begins to develop. This is where I relate this snuff to pipe smoking as it reminds me of Dunhill's Nightcap, which is a Latakia heavy English mixture with the addition on Perique tobacco. The aroma of this snuff is literally the longest lasting I have ever experienced in snuff taking, If spending some time outdoors I find it can last an hour or two. The after taste is remarkably similar to the one you would have after smoking an English blend pipe tobacco. This is my first peek in to the genius of sir Johnny and I must say, this purchase some he'd inspired me to invest in a vast sum of his products!!!
the best there is!high in vitamin N and very smokey well worth the money. a note of caution though these sir walters really do need to be kept in the refrigerator as they can go mouldy . but if kept in the fridge they last for ages
