Pure Mysore Sandalwood

The name says it all! Nothing but pure, elegant Mysore Sandalwood mixed into a medium brown base snuff. In contrast to the other reviews, I like to mix this one with either Fubar Plain, 6photo LA Natural, or Cheetah. It might go well with something like SG Kendal Brown Original too, I think I’ll try it! Anyway it’s a niches snuff, quite pricey too, but for me, it’s a keeper! I don’t need much because it’s so strong in scent, and the scent lasts a long time too. Recommend this to seasoned snuff takers as it is probably not one for the newbies.

If all you want is Sandlewood

You expect a 6 Photos snuff to have various layers. One gives way to another. Although there is a starting biscuit taste, the sandlewood soon takes over and dominates from thereon out. Unfortunately sandle wood has an acrid smell and there is nothing else in this snuff to sweeten it up, to take advantage of its tone by giving it something to kick against. Compared to a most of the 6 Photo range this is a one note snuff. I doubt most people would enjoy sandlewood by itself as its note is dry and, as I said, acrid. It might be good as a blender however.

Mysore Sandalwood 30g

This has that same delicious silky smooth grind as the Super Kailash, but a very different experience. You really have to like sandalwood. I'm going to try airing it out a bit to let the scent dimish, or I might use it as a mixer to add a hint of sandal to a flavorless snuff.
Texture, tobacco taste, nicotine all 5 stars
Aroma 3 stars(we'll see when it's aired out)
So 4 out of 5 overall
