Fribourg and Treyer Morlaix

I'm not sure why anyone would class this as a menthol snuff, because it's about as far from menthol as one could possibly get. This is an unashamedly perfumed snuff. It has a slight sting to it to it that fades to a sweet violet scent that lingers nicely in the nose for some time. There are other flavours in there that I can't quite distinguish (geranium?), but baby powder and parma violets is not a bad comparison. Even though it's a modern blend, I can imagine this as a Regency era scent, popular with dandies and ladies. F&T sure know how to make snuff - and their tins are simply the best looking I've ever seen!
