I have to admit that when I first contemplated trying FUBAR Bubble Gum Filter Tabaq I was not particularly looking forward to it. Generally speaking I am not enamored by candy flavors in tobacco. I tend to find them a bit cloyingly sweet.
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Upon opening the packet you are met with the classic bubble gum perfume which is definitely not unpleasant. In fact it stirs a few memories of more carefree times.
When I popped it in my mouth it turned out that the bubblegum is actually quite understated. FUBAR Filter Tabaq in general is low on the sugar side and this one was true to the same form. The bubble gum flavor is more of an undertone rather than in your face.
The portions do not disappoint. Like all things FUBAR, Bubble Gum Filter Tabaq has a decent punch to it, and the flavor lasts pretty much all the way till it's time to pop another one in, with a slight dip in the middle which is interesting. Even after the Bubble Gum diminishes there is no bitter aftertaste, but rather a transition to more of a classic tobacco flavor. My guess is this is because of the quality of tobacco that is used to manufacture this fine filter tabaq.
Accustomed as I am to chew bags and snus, these mini portions still required me to shift it around my mouth to ease the delicious "tingle" that indicates the nicotine is on its way to the dopamine receptors.
