This snuff is not quite white, but very light tan, with the finest, driest grind I've ever experienced, this has to be the least "user friendly" snuff I've ever tried. A slight ammonia scent, backed up by a musty, sweaty, exotic, dried salty anchovy quality that has something of the fragrance of a crowd in a very hot, congested market place. If it sounds terrible, it isn't; it's fascinating, intensely stimulating and unique.
The burn is very, very intense, but has more of a stinging quality than the warmer burn of the great Toasts, and is rather short lived. The nicotine hit comes on more quickly and massively than any tobacco product I've ever used--literally within seconds. The only way to take it in my experience is to take a very small pinch, and slowly raise it to your nostril while breathing as you normally would at rest.
As your hand approaches your nose, you'll soon feel the snuff flying up your nostril--and you WILL feel it--long before your fingers reach your nose. The burn and nicotine rush of this snuff are like no others, but it's intensely rewarding once you get the hang of it. Somehow both agonizing and ecstatic, there's nothing else like it.

There is nothing quite like it out there!!
I have tried probably 20 different kinds of snuff but the Dholakia White always brings me back where I belong.
Color...white or to gray side
Strength...will knock your socks off
taste... very bad but it will own your soul after how it makes you feel 2 minutes after the fact!!
Amount...take small hits of this wonderfull snuff or you will sleep with your eyes open all night.
Fine grind..like cement that has not been mixed with gravel yet.
easy to take....one word_bad
mixing with other snuff.....good idea
Take you on a trip where you have never dreamed of going before?......big yes!!
Ps, buy the 10 gram can to start and go from there.
Don't be frightened by this snuff, just be sure to respect it. I was almost turned off by the review of someone saying it smells like a busy, sweaty, marketplace. I am glad I sucked it up and made the purchase anyway. It really does have a scent of salty anchovies! That doesn't bother me though, i happen to love anchovies. D. White is definitely bone dry and VERY fine. The nicotine will kick your butt, so start off small and work your way up.
This is definitely one of my favorites!
Magnificent product. Hard to take though at first because of the intensity; you can mix it with another snuff at first (I was mixing it with an Ozona fruit). The flavor is most excellent, not too terribly exotic to me but in its own zone. The visual appearance is +++; a beige-to-white powder that fissures noticeably in the container; it's almost like you are taking pinches of an African Rift Valley-type landscape. It smears in an assertive way, too, almost like a dry powdery paint. There is a funny internet video of someone taking a huge hit of DW off their hand, which depicts the "tears of joy" that arise from massive snuff sniffing.
Like the other Dholakia snuffs I have tried this one has a chemical-like undertone that is interesting and not unpleasant. It has an amazing amount of nicotine kick and a very bright and vibrant scent. I really enjoy this one, and it's not as "heavy" as others and doesn't have any clogging factor at all.
This is my first Indian White snuff. Wow! Dholakia White will knock you over if you don't know what to expect. It's finer than any of the American scotches and just as dry. On the flip side, it has a massive nicotine hit which is almost immediate. I literally can feel it before I finish my pinch in the other nostril. The taste is ok. It does smell a tad fishy. It is neat, but I won't be using it as an all day snuff. This is not for beginners. It burns when I use it right. I can't even imagine how painful a whole pinch going to my throat would feel.
