TAXI - Red Extra Strong
TAXI - Red Extra Strong
Taxi Red is a classic, high-nicotine South African snuff with a robust, earthy, and ammonia-forward profile, accented by leather, hay, and sweet undertones. The grind is coarse and moist, making it easy to take and suitable for both nasal and oral use.
The product delivers a strong, lingering flavor and a significant punch, with a soft, spongy texture and a quality presentation. It is a must-try for those seeking a powerful, fermented, rustic, natural tobacco snuff.

The granules are large and highly moist—rougher than those of yellow leaf snus, so damp you can almost pinch water out of them. The texture of the granules is especially raw, clearly showing they’re chopped tobacco.
At first sniff, it smells like picking mushrooms in the mountains after rain, with a hint of ammonia. When you take a pinch into your nose, there’s an intense fermented odor—like something fermented in a chicken coop. It’s a pure smell of a damp chicken or duck coop, or maybe a cow shed or stable? Slightly gamey, with a sour-putrid note. (Sorry, I haven’t raised large livestock, so this is just a rough description.)
This one is the opposite of Sierra Forest. Sierra Forest hits you with pine needle scent first, followed by manure in the middle and later stages. This one jumps right into the fermented sour stench upfront. After a while, the sourness fades slowly, leaving a primitive forest aroma—earthiness and humus. For Gaoni, I find it somewhat bearable.
Advise caution when choosing. Subjectively, I categorize it as the "Animal Shed Series"—proceed with care.
